The chills, goosebumps and overwhelming emotions from this episode were enough to bring tears in my eyes by the end. Rukia saying "Ichigo will come, I know he will." and Ichigo bursting into rage to escape, cut to dramatic title cards was an awesome start, then the beautiful heartbreaking scenes of Byakuya I remember that sudden rukia zombie decay really scared me in the manga too... Kisuke's "oh shit" at the unknown sword was so alarming since he almost never gets caught of guard!! And old man Yamamoto bringing the raging fire on enemy for poor, loyal lieutenant Chōjirō Sasakibe reverberating across the Seireitei was absolutely heart touching and soo good!!! 😭❤ their past was so beautiful!! kenpachi taking some of those creeps down was so satisfying!! and Yamamoto vs Yhwach faceoff in after credits was too epic!!

I’ve watch the sub version of episode 5 that The Quincy king’s name is Yhwach, Which that name was hard to pronounce so I waited for this dub version, then in my surprise his name is totally different from the sub from His name being Yhwach to “Yu-Ha-Ba-Ha” in this Dub version And I’m like what the fuq where they get “B” in Yhwach like that is completely different of how I thought it would be pronounce, like is the name silent to be pronounced like that? Is that even a name or word, I thought his name will be pronounce Yak or Yuck or Yash!

Mr. Lodge will be 66 years old in October... maybe he felt he's too old to play Kenny now? perhaps he stepped aside for Mr. Seitz's behalf who just turned 45 back in March 2023? if i remember right Seitz actually WAS Kenny's original VA but Lodge took over when Seitz had too many scheduling conflicts. also, if you didn't know Mr. Seitz has been Kurosaki Isshin's English VA for the entire franchise, including TYBWA. plus, i think Mr. Lodge is semi-retired from English dubs of anime these days. he has only had... 9 roles after playing Kenny in Bleach Movie 3: Fade to Black in 2008. his most recent role is as Headmaster Wahlberg Baigan in Mashle's English dub.
